Week 49: Visualize Ranges with Percentiles
This week's challenge focused on using percentiles to analyze blood glucose measurements, which are crucial for managing diabetes. In the U.S., 11.6% of the population had diabetes, and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) were commonly used to track blood sugar levels. The task was to visualize blood glucose data across multiple days, with percentiles (5th, 25th, 50th, 75th, and 95th) plotted by time of day, highlighting the target range of 80-180 mg/dL. The visualization included lines for each percentile, shading between certain percentiles, and reference lines at 80 and 180 mg/dL to indicate in-range values.
